He has designed more than 60 training programmes, welcomed over 40,000 students in his educational centres, and completed more than 10,000 hours of clinical practice.
A visionary of the practical needs of psychologists, educators, and speech therapists, Raimon Gaja founded his first postgraduate training centre in 1982. Since then, he has stood out for his significant contribution to the development of continuing education in Spain and Latin America.
With the enthusiasm of the first day, and surrounded by renowned professors, Raimon Gaja, accompanied by his great team, leads the Raimon Gaja Institute, a higher education centre that leverages 40 years of experience to offer a new, agile, and practical training proposal. It provides university-level, official education designed for active, dynamic, curious, and creative professionals who want to thoroughly prepare themselves to meet the demands of today’s society.
I belong to the small 1% of the world’s population who have had the fortune of attending university. I am a fortunate person, and for that reason, I believe I have a duty to give back the knowledge I have acquired to society.

Contributions to Psychology
His main contribution to psychology is having led the introduction and subsequent development of postgraduate training in Spain, in the fields of psychology, speech therapy, and psychopedagogy. In this way, he has helped future psychologists, educators, and speech therapists start their professional careers with an optimal level of preparation, and enabled active professionals to access continuing education that allows them to achieve high levels of excellence.
Raimon Gaja has also worked towards the normalization of the role of psychologists and psychological treatments among the general public, through writing articles for mass media and publishing around twenty books, including his notable work Well-being, Self-esteem, and Happiness: A Guide to Achieving Psychological Stability and Personal Maturity.
Ultimately, Raimon Gaja’s goal has always been to help others and contribute value to society.
